Who We Are »

Get to Know Us:

We are a church of Christian believers who desire to be what God has called us to be. Through the study of the Bible, prayer, and trust in God's lead, we believe He has called us to be sold out followers of Jesus' teaching and example of self-sacrifice. This is reflected in our purpose statement: We exist to equip people to expand the Kingdom of God. Secondly, we think God has given us a specific role in Ottawa County, Ohio to engage in worship through contemporary music and teaching methods as well as examining the Bible to interpret how relevant its truths are for all generations.

Get to Know Jesus
There are so many views on who Jesus was and who he himself claimed to be. But Jesus makes some statements that bring total clarity as to who he was and is today:

"I am the way, the truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." John 14:6-7*

"Yes, you know me, and you know where I am from. I am not here on my own, but he who sent me is true. You do not know him, but I know him because I am from him and he sent me." John 7:28b-29*.

"I am the resurrection and the life. [whoever] believes in me will live, even though [they die]; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." John 11:25-26*

However, the knowledge of Jesus as one's personal savior starts with accepting the truth about him, but grows in personal relationship with Jesus as one's Lord. Jesus wants to transform our lives from the inside out, and he has provided a way to do that by dying on the cross and defeating death by resurrecting to life that lasts forever. Jesus maintains his presence with us on earth through the Holy Spirit who God sent to those who put the trust of this life in God's one and only Son.
